This unique challenge allows you to explore new modes of transportation, connect with your community, and contribute towards greater social inclusion and empathy.

What is the Week Without Driving Challenge?

The Week Without Driving Challenge is a voluntary, self-managed initiative encouraging individuals to experience life without relying on their personal vehicles. Participants can choose between:

  1. Participating in a SnapSendSolve Scavenger Hunt. CLICK to find out more about each Scavenger Hunt below and choose from 1 or more of the following in the box below:
  2. Pledging to avoid driving for part or an entire week and discovering alternative transportation methods such as walking, biking, public transport, carpooling, etc., or
  3. A combination of both.

Why Participate?

  1. Promote Social Inclusion: Understand the daily experiences of those who cannot drive due to disability, age, or financial constraints.
  2. Foster Community Empathy: Gain insights into the challenges faced by non-drivers and cultivate a more profound sense of empathy and connection with your neighbours.
  3. Rediscover Your Community: See your surroundings in a new light, discover local gems, and engage with your community in ways you might not have considered before.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're interested in what we do, we could do with your support

Get Around Cabo Carfree is a community movement advocating for more travel options for people in
Caboolture & Morayfield.

Our Goals

1. All children can ride to school on safe streets

2. All young adults can get to work or study without needing a car so they begin adulthood without a debt of $15,000 a year.

A lack of transport options leads to a high financial burden for
families, businesses and governments.

The only way we can be sustainable for the long term is with your help.
